Patch notes
Changes to the alpha, newest first.
The big update
Mastery is now two webs, one for skilling and one for combat. The town has the Crossing Well and Town Tasks, your gear has a window of its own, every skill has a Guild and a pet, and Exploration goes to 120. With Sightings while you gather, the Collection Log, attack types, fights that look better and new tools at every tier.
A new look, and friends
The whole screen is new: one bar across the top, a Menu for everything else, a chat that is easier to read, profiles as character sheets, and friends with private messages. With tutorial XP, a cleaner chat, trading in shared homes, cheaper bank spaces and more since the last notes.
World events are here
Every two hours a world event is called: the Great Oak, the Fallen Star, the Moonpool or the Ember Matron, taken on together for three times the XP and an event chest. With clan news in the clan chat, the new action bar, harder vows and more since the last notes.
The Quarry Descent is open
The first dungeon is open from level 20: six rooms down to the Quarry Warden and its chest, ten vows and three new sets. With the Market, the Riverboat and more since the last notes.
How many left, and room to work
The game now shows how many you have left and when it runs out, and other players spread out over the world as more of them gather.
One Combat page and loot into the bank
The Combat window is one page now, your loot flies into the Bank, and Enchanting shows where to get every rune and gem it asks for.
The combat update, and no more walking
One Combat button, gear with lines, Enchanting, Combat Mastery, the Trials and their Loot vault. Every activity now starts on the spot, and woodcutting and mining work one tree or rock.
Bench queues, trip reports and a tidier bank
Changes from the first playtest reports: queue recipes at the benches, watch your scout’s trip when it comes home, see your gear beside the bank and delete items you no longer need.
Evertrail Crossing, a fullscreen game and Exploration
The game now fills the screen, with the town of Evertrail Crossing as its hub and other players shown around you. Also new: Exploration, where a scout charts the land.
Eleven ranged sets, from Leather to Everdawnweave
The ranged armour ladder is complete: seven more remade sets up to the level-100 Everdawnweave, and every combat kill pays two and a half times the experience.
The first remade gear, and worlds that load as you watch
The ranged sets start their remake with Infernal and Leather, worlds load only while you are watching them, and higher-level monsters pay more experience.
Clans
Found or join a clan: a shared vault, projects that grow a clan hall, perks, a weekly goal, clan boards and a boss on one shared health bar.
Combat 2.0
Combat is rebuilt around three styles, weapon archetypes with special attacks, a spellbook paid for in runes, graded loot and the Everdawn tier for levels 100 to 120.
An economy pass for the next upgrade
Recent alpha changes bring combat and thieving earnings closer to gathering, revisit supply values and make preparation costs easier to judge.
