Fishing & Cooking
Fish the six stretches of the town’s shore and cook the catch at the hearth.

Six stretches of one shore
All fishing happens on the shore of Evertrail Crossing, east of the mill. The river is split into six stretches, one for each level band, and every stretch keeps its water’s name, its fish and its legendary catch.
| Levels | Stretch | Fish |
|---|---|---|
| 1-9 | Willow Brook | Brook Minnow, Stone Loach |
| 10-29 | Reedbank | River Trout, Moss Perch, Reed Pike |
| 30-49 | Cedar Lake | Lake Carp, Silver Eel, Glassfin Bream |
| 50-69 | Warmwater Spring | Emberfin, Stoneback, Geyser Eel |
| 70-89 | Moonwell Shore | Moonray, Storm Salmon, Aurora Char |
| 90-120 | Ancient Basin | Dawn Koi, Dawnspear Gar, Sunscale Carp, Everdawn Eel |
Fishing beside other players
Choose a catch you have unlocked and your adventurer is at its stretch at once and starts casting. Each stretch has a few stands, and anglers share them: you will see other adventurers fishing beside you.
Besides ordinary fish, a cast can bring up an occasional treasure or, very rarely, the stretch’s legendary catch.
Exploration’s riverboat can chart four fishing grounds up the river. Each one opens a new catch at its stretch of the shore in town: the brook grayling, the rustbank barbel, the mire lamprey and the frostfin trout.
Take the catch to the hearth
The hearth on Artisans’ Row is where every catch is cooked. Recipes repeat while their ingredients last; some use fish alone, others add herbs for a dish with its own benefit.
Expect a few burns
A cook can burn, succeed or turn out a perfect extra portion. Burns use the ingredients and pay no Cooking experience; higher Cooking levels and better cookware make them rarer.
Plan a supply run with some fish to spare rather than expecting every catch to become a meal.
Choose the food you mean to use
Food only helps once you choose it in your loadout, where Auto Eat serves it in a fight. Meals can carry different effects, so pick a dish for the fight rather than assuming the highest recipe is always right.
