Progress while you are away

Leave a sensible plan running and return to the progress it could actually make.

The current allowance

The current alpha can settle up to 24 hours of a running ordinary activity while you are away. Its output follows the game's activity rules; leaving a browser visible does not create a separate bonus rate.

Away progress follows the activity’s requirements: if the activity would stop, it stops while you are away too.

After 24 hours away the work stops and your adventurer rests in town until you start something again. Leaderboards and profiles keep moving while you are away.

A quick departure check

  • Confirm the activity you want is actually running.
  • Keep the required crafting ingredients or other supplies available.
  • Check Bank room for the expected output.
  • Prepare suitable equipment, chosen food and ammunition before combat.

What can stop a plan

A recipe can run out of ingredients. A routine output can need a Bank space you do not have. A dangerous fight can end in defeat.

The return information and activity log explain what happened. Inspect them before restarting a plan that could stop for the same reason again.

Farming follows its own clock

Planted crops grow in real time while your adventurer does other work or the game is closed.

Return to harvest and replant them. Farming growth does not mean every ripe plot automatically harvests and starts another crop.
